Optopol Technology has been at the forefront of innovative product development for over 30 years. This includes the first commercially available spectral domain OCT and the fastest and most feature-rich SD-OCT available on the current eyecare market.
Optopol Technologies was founded by the late Adam Bogdani in 1992 and is now run by his son, Marcin Bogdani. Based approximately 70 kilometers north of Kraków, Poland, Optopol now has several R&D locations and a U.S. subsidiary. Optopol has become one of the world leaders in automated perimetry and spectral domain OCT with thousands of devices in use in 90 countries.
Registration of OPTOPOL Sp. z o.o. (Limited).
Establishment of OPTOPOL Sp. z o.o. (OPTOPOL Sp. z o.o. took over 100% of shares). Beginning of production of own medical devices.
