APVRS returned to Australia for the first time in over a decade, and it was a truly international congress: this year’s theme, “Where Retina Meets the Reef,” gave us the perfect backdrop for talking layers, resolution, and everything in between.

At Booth 28 you would have found familiar faces from our OPTOPOL ANZ team, John Larkin and Craig Norman, alongside APAC Area Manager James Christensen, spending three days showing REVO HR and its 3 micron resolution alongside the PTS 2000 and its ZETA algorithm to retina and visual field specialists from across the region. We’re also grateful to our neighbours at Norlase for good company by our side.

Thank you to the organisers of APVRS 2026 for bringing such a strong scientific program back to Australian shores, and to everyone who stopped by to talk shop, ask questions, and share where their practice is headed.
